Cable 12V DC

An output of 12V is specified for the Cable 12V DC. However, the Charging Module / Charging Anti Vibration Module requires an input of 5V. Is the output of the CABLE 12V DC not too high?

Thanks to modern technology, no! The Charging Module and Charging Anti Vibration Module both feature an integrated Power Delivery function that allows for the adjustment of the required voltage.

Does the Cable 12V DC continue to draw power when connected to the battery after the motorcycle is turned off? If so, how much?

Yes, if the Cable 12V DC is connected directly to the battery it will continue to draw power even after the vehicle has been switched off. To avoid this kind of power consumption, we recommend connecting it to the ignition plus.

Do I need an additional fuse when connecting the Cable 12V DC?

The SPC+ Charging Modules are not protected against short circuits. When connecting with the Cable 12V DC, we therefore recommend installing an additional 5A fuse or a connection behind the ignition.
